FAQs
You can expect what all of our customers expect: quality parts, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service. We love what we do, and we think it shows!
Yes! We are AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 certified and our registrar is NSF International. Feel free to download our most current certificates here.
CNC stands for “computer numerical controlled” and refers to an automated manufacturing process in which pre-programmed software controls the movement of the machinery. CNC provides consistent accuracy that makes it possible to produce precision parts.
In its simplest form, a lathe is a machine that can make turned parts from bar stock, but has no milling capability. Screw machines, turning centers, and Swiss lathes are lathes that have the ability to turn and mill parts.
Turning centers and Swiss lathes can typically make more complicated parts than screw machines, and are better-suited for parts with tight engineering tolerances. Swiss lathes tend to be better for small, thin, and long parts than screw machines and turning centers. At Oil & Gas Industry Parts China, we have all three turning machine platforms and so can accommodate a broad spectrum of part designs.
The short answer is “it depends.” Things like your needs, part complexity, the type of manufacturing, and many other factors are at play. In general, we can machine parts with minor outside diameters (ODs) as small as 2mm (0.080”) and major ODs as large as 200mm (8”). If you’re looking for help nailing down those factors, we encourage you to contact our technical sales staff early in the design cycle so we can review your part and provide insight and assistance.
In order to provide a meaningful quote, we only require the following information:
- A fully dimensioned print, drawing, sketch in either PDF or CAD format
- All required raw materials
- Any necessary secondary operations, including heat treating, plating, or finishing specifications
- Any applicable customer specifications, such as First Article Inspection, PPAP requirements, and required outside process certificates
- Expected quantity or quantities
- Any other useful information, such as target pricing or required lead times
Yes! We accept all major credit cards: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
We’ve served our customers around the globe for over 30 years. Most of our customers are headquartered in North America.
Designing parts is outside the scope of our ISO registration as a contract manufacturer, but we can offer some guidance with Design for Manufacturability (DFM). With DFM, we can suggest ways to optimize your design to lower cost while retaining functionality.
Yes, we offer FAI, AS9102 FAI, and PPAP reports for parts we make. Please let us know your specific QA reporting needs with your RFQ, and we will incorporate it into your quote. Additional charges may apply.
Absolutely! We love hosting customers wanting to meet our team and see our capabilities first- hand. To schedule, please call us at +86-755-29024358 or email inquiry.oilgas@made-parts.com.
We manufacture custom metal and plastic parts from bar or tube stock to the highest standards of quality and precision. We provide CNC Swiss machining and two types of centerless grinding. Please visit our Customized Solutions page to learn more!
We are involved with almost every industry imaginable. We serve aerospace, energy, medical, dental, and many others. For an exhaustive list, please see our Industries page.
CNC refers to computer numerical controlled, which automates our machine tools. Our CNC machines perform both turning and milling operations.
In CNC turning, bars of material are held in a chuck and rotated while a tool is fed to the piece to remove material and create the desired shape. Milling refers to machining done to an unmoving work piece with a moving (or “live”) tool. Most manufacturing companies use the term “turned parts” to refer to parts made with either method.
In addition to standard equipment like optical comparators, plug gages, ring gages, and thread gages, we use a Keyence visual inspection system. The Keyence System uses 22 fixed position lenses and four sets of telecentric lenses to inspect parts and can create SPC reports from the measurement data, which allows our Quality Assurance Team to verify First Article and complete in-process inspections more efficiently. Visit our Quality page for more information.
In most cases, we will respond with your quote in 1 business day. The best way to help ensure a quick quote is to provide as many accurate specifics as you can. Request a quote to get started!
Every part is unique, so it’s impossible to designate a meaningful “standard delivery lead-time.” However, our Sales Team is ready and willing to quickly review your part and provide you an estimate. Request a quote to get started!
No quantity is too small or too large. We make parts in quantities ranging from one piece to over 1 million, Whether proof-of-concept, prototype, or full production, we’re ready to deliver quality parts on a timely schedule.
Our standard credit terms are 1%/10 net 30 for approved customers. To request credit, request and complete our application after requesting a quote. Fo rush orders, we accept 30% at time of order, with further terms depending on final approval. Sometimes, to expedite a first time order while waiting for trade references, we accept a 30% of order value payment on the credit card.
